The thesis deals with a comparative analysis of the labour market in the countries of the southern wing of the European Union and identifies similarities and differences in the development of labour markets and in the implemented employment policies. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical knowledge and basic concepts of the labour market and unemployment. Then, a comparative analysis of individual labour market indicators is conducted, which is complemented by factor and principal component analysis. It concludes with a comparison of employment policies in southern European countries and discusses their potential to improve the labour market situation.
Monetary Expansion and Economic Crises: An Austrian Perspective

The study of economic crises has been a major topic of interest in economics since at least the Great Depression and it has come to the fore once again after the latest crisis of late 2000s. It has also been one of the key themes for the Austrian school of economics in the form of the Austrian Business Cycle Theory (ABCT), which puts emphasis on monetary factors influencing capital structure of the economy. In this thesis we provide a comprehensive exposition of the distinctive points of Austrian approach to the study of markets, the ABCT's propositions and conclusions and also the most important criticism of the theory and replies to it. The theoretical part is accompanied by an empirical illustration on the economy of the United States of America in the period starting at the end of the latest crisis. The importance of economic factors in reasons of commiting suicides focused on czech citizens aged 15-24 (2015)

Bachelor thesis deals with social-pathological phenomenon of suicide. Due to the broad range of the topic, the scope of this work is reduced to the view of high schools and universities students. The main objective of this work is to determine whether young people hold the opinion that a free man who has the right to life should also have the right to die discretionary. Also whether they have ever thought about suicide as a solution of negative economic factors. Finally, compare the difference in opinions on the issue of students from high schools and universities in different years of study and not studying respondents. The theoretical part, which deals mainly with economic factors and the cost of suicide and the practical part where I carry out own research, where I try using the questionnaire to find out the importance of economic factors for respondents. The research says that the economic factors are very important even for students and that there is possibility they would thing about suicide due to these factors.

The diploma thesis deals with economy of Egypt and its position in the international tourism market. The aim of the thesis is to analyse economy and tourism of Egypt and define their relationship. The thesis is focused on the period of global economic crises and the following political crises, and tries to emphasize the impact of these two events. The thesis is divided into three chapters; the first one is a theoretical basis for the analysis itself. The second chapter is devoted to an outline of the political situation and analyses development of the main macroeconomic indicators in the context of the events of past few years. The third chapter analyses tourism and its effect on the economy.
The comparison of the anti-crisis fiscal measures in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

The beginning of diploma thesis is about economic crisis, then it deals more specifically with the characteristics of the anti-crisis fiscal measures, which the Czech Republic and Slovakia have adopted to reduce the effects of economic crisis. These measures are described in detail and accompanied by tables and graphs, I set their goals, advantages and disadvantages. The aim of the thesis is to compare anti-crisis measures in the Czech and Slovak Republic and to say which of them is more efficient.

The Labour Market in the European Union

The diploma thesis "The Labour Market in the European Union" evaluates the developments of the labour market in the European Union and the mechanisms of the European Union's employment policy in the period of 2000-2010. The theoretical definitions of the main labour market categories and three major macroeconomic models are explained in the first chapter. The second part provides comparative analysis of them member states based on selected labour market indicators -- employment, unemployment, labour productivity and costs and labour market policy The third chapter investigates in the activities of the European Union in the area of employment policy and more closely focuses on the European Employment Strategy, its guidelines and influence on member states policy setting. The chapter closes with the overview of the financial resources activated by the EU to support employment in response to the financial crisis.
Development and analysis of macroeconomic indicators in the years 2000 - 2009 and their impact on the financial crisis in Hungary

Theoretical and methodological part of bachelor work: determination of conceptions "crisis" and "financial crisis", theoretical determination of macroeconomical indicators. Analytic part of bachelor work: Analysis of macroeconomical indicators in years 2000- 2009 on real dates of Hungary. On these indicators I will illustrate fundamental deficiencies of economy and I will search cause of present real economic crisis in Hungary. Conclusion: Presentation of analysis results, estimation how particular indicators influenced depth of crisis, or how crisis vice versa influenced macroeconomical indicators. Interpretation of results in context of real economy.
